You've Got Light Too!

       Many ladies struggle with low self-esteem; some feel they're less beautiful, and many believe they're incapable of reaching their earnest goals. They doubt their abilities, yea, those amazing abilities inherent in them. Worse still, the society has aggravated issues. Women have been made to keep silent, they've been deprived of their rights and treated like they are of less value than their male counterparts. What's more pathetic is that many women have come to believe that the male folks are more precious and should be at the top while the woman follows from the bottom, that he should be at the fore front while she  trails from behind. They're oblivious of how special they are. I think that's why a woman would prefer a male child to a daughter.
      Women have been restricted, their impact limited, their abilities repressed and their powers subdued. Many young women have subjected themselves to popular opinion and consequently doubt their abilities to be outstanding and shine as a beacon in the midst of men and women alike. All they hear is 'I can't' when God wants them to know that they can.
        God has endowed every woman with extraordinary potential and he's waiting, counting on them(or rather, us) to change the world. Instead of being concerned about hooking up to a successful man, create your own success. Develop yourself, use your strengths, maximise your potentials, put your brain to work. There's more to life than getting married and raising a family, although it is of utmost importance. Instead of using your sweet, soft voice to seduce boys, why don't you allow God use it to spread His Word, instead of thinking about ways to look more curvy, why don't you try to live a life that would qualify you as a role model? Instead of fantasising about getting a boob job or getting the sexiest clothes, why don't you try to find a way to touch lives and leave a lasting impact? As against pondering on how to use your seductive powers to get a man's attention, why don't you show someone in dire need of love and care what love(agape) is all about? Why is your no. 1 priority how to look more appealing to boys? Would that earn you a Nobel prize? You're wasting your gifts and dimming your light? Don't you want your name written on the sands of time? We need more Deborahs, Esthers and Marys. The world needs ladies who would surpass the achievements of Maria Wood-worth Etter, Aimee Semple-McPherson and Kathryn Kuhlman. Ladies should rise up and use their femininity for the right purpose. Let's be determined more than ever to fulfill destiny and shine like the morning Sun. You're special, My Lady. Don't you ever doubt that. You can fulfill your dreams and soar beyond the sky if you would let Jesus be the Pilot of your life.
